PENTECOSTALS HANG ON, This is what we have been waiting for.

I have been around Pentecostal Churches all my life, and I have seen many ideas presented to help stimulate growth in the Pentecostal Churches. Borat has helped the Pentecostal movement with one blockbuster movie more than all the programs of the Pentecostal Churches combined.

Thank you Borat!!!

We have spent years going to meetings and looking for ideas to help us get the word out to the people that there is a real experience available in the Pentecostal Churches. We were looking for ways to tell the whole world that there are people who are very excited and sincere about serving God. We want to share our experience with everybody.

Hundreds of millions of dollars in promotional material that we may have produced could not have done as much for the cause of the Pentecostals as Borat's stunt.

When I discovered what Borat had done I laughed and said, "God must really have a sense of humour."

We have worked so hard to find ways let the people know that there is Joy in the Holy Ghost and speaking in tongues is wonderful and real. Now a funny little man that is not even Pentecostal has done more for our growth than we have ever done for ourselves.

If I ever get a chance to meet Borat I will gladly shake his hand and express my gratitude.

From this point forward it will be easy to talk to people about the Holy Ghost, Speaking in tongues and baptism in the name of Jesus.

Every Pentecostal Church should see this as the opportunity of the century to fill up the Pentecostal Churches with people who are sick and tired of being sick and tired of life. Now the whole world can learn that happy people in the Pentecostal Churches are glad to share the experience of Joy and help others to find real peace and happiness.

I will not be surprised if Borat gets a real experience of the Holy Ghost as the story continues to unfold. We may not want to trust him, but it can happen.

Mr Borat is welcome to come to our Church in Connecticut with as many cameras as he can bring whether fake or real.

Wow! This is awesome!

Mr. Rutledge, I love this outlook. I think you're right. I never even thought about it this way. THANK YOU GOD. It has been tough, especially for my church, to get the word out about our religion. This has helped us at no large cost.

These attacks will keep coming. I'm not ashamed. I'm a proud Missouri Pentecostal. I'd rather be a fool for God than a fool for this.. world. To all of the Pentecostals out there who might be offended, or even hurt by this. Just remember who you serve. Continue to Praise, and Worship God. My YouthPastor once said, worrying is a sin. It means you dont fully trust your God. I pray God will have his Will in this situation. Keep your Pentecostal head up. Lately my Youth Group has had a huge break through. Something new is happening here, seek it. As pentecostals, we cant sit around worrying while people are dying lost everyday. We're UPC, United. I'm so happy to know the truth.

thanks, Josh

There are other avenues to win people to your org. It's a mockery and blasphemous to allow Hollywood and their cameras into a place of worship. Oh, the sanctity of a place to worship. What has happened to the church world? I once belonged to your org. for 33 years endured harsh authority rule. We couldn't stand it any longer. People are leaving your org. by the droves. We have a new revelation of who our God is. My name is Linda, we were part of the Wisconsin district UPCI. IT's sad when sheep do not feel safe in a flock.

I hope you were just being facetious in all these statements. If not, you were being disingenuous. A lot of the comments from online video clips actually focus on the bizarre, fanatic behavior of the churchgoers, instead of indicating an appreciation for the cause of the Pentecostal movement. Your post sounds more like a pseudo-positive spin intended to downplay the embarrassment of having been duped by a comedian. Why not just write about how it was disrespectful of Borat and his crew to manipulate those in the UPC who gave him permission to come in to film? Why not STAND UP for your movement rather than pretentiously portray the occurrence as an "awesome" publicity stunt that benefitted Pentecostals in the end?
